Car care in Birmingham
Winter parking on Old Woodward
Downtown, cars park at the meters along Old Woodward and Maple Road, right beside traffic. In winter, every passing car throws salty slush onto the street side and lower doors. Our foam bath loosens that film before the hand wash, and we clean the wheels, wells and door jambs, where salt collects.
Getting ready for Dream Cruise
The Woodward Dream Cruise runs along Woodward Avenue through Birmingham each August, and the city’s own cruise event usually fills South Old Woodward that day. Before it, Exterior Deluxe’s iron decontamination and clay bar pull bonded grit out of the paint, and its 6-month ceramic sealant protects the finish through the season.
Birds by Quarton Lake
Quarton Lake draws ducks and other birds, and so does the Rouge River trail through Linden Park, so a car parked nearby for a walk can come back with droppings. They etch the clear coat the longer they sit, so we soften them in the foam bath rather than wiping them dry, which drags grit across the paint.

Can you work with street parking?
Yes. Street parking works, as long as we can park right beside your car. Our water and power come with us, so there’s nothing to hook up.

How much does it cost?
Exterior details start at $100, Interior at $200 and Full-Service at $260 for sedans and coupes ($120, $230 and $300 for SUVs and trucks). Heavy pet hair or a heavily soiled vehicle is $25 extra, and oversized trucks may be quoted a little higher. We’ll always tell you before we start, never after. You’ll see your exact price on the booking form before you book.
When and how do I pay?
After the detail. There’s no deposit and no card on file. We’ll text you a secure payment link (card or Apple Pay), or you can pay with Tap to Pay on Austin’s phone, cash, check, Zelle or Venmo.
How long does a detail take?
It depends on the package and the vehicle’s condition. Exterior Standard runs about 1.5 hours and Exterior Deluxe 2–2.5; Interior Standard takes 2.5–3 hours and Interior Deluxe 3–4. Full-Service Standard is 3.5–4.5 hours, and Full-Service Deluxe — the most thorough — runs 4.5–6. We’ll give you a clear time window when you book.
What if it rains?
If the weather would keep us from doing the job right, we’ll reach out to reschedule at no cost — we’d rather move the appointment than deliver a result we’re not proud of.
