“Austin crushed it! I was out of country and wanted to surprise my wife with a car detail. Did a quick Google search found Austin reached out to him and he was there within a couple of days. My wife was ecstatic! I will definitely be back again”

Google review“Having my husband's car detailed was a Christmas present. He uses his vehicle as his "smoking hut". It was desperately in need of a thorough cleaning. I was very impressed with Austin's work. He left the car looking and smelling like new. As a businessman, he is responsive and his prices reasonable. I highly recommend A&F Auto Detailing.”

Google review“Great service and great results! Very professional, personable, and accommodating. Interior and exterior look great afterwards and was able to get stains out of the headliner on the ceiling which was huge. Gave tips on future care too which was great. Came to my workplace and completed the job with no issues.”

Google review · Oct 2026“One of my best gifts ever!! For my birthday, I was given a gift card for auto detailing from A&F Detailing. It was very easy to schedule an appointment and communicate with Austin. He came right to my house and within hours had my 8-year-old Alfa looking like it just came out of the showroom! If you want your car to look brand new, then look no further.”

Google review · Oct 2026“Skip the big players, Austin is your guy for mobile detailing needs. I got an interior detail clean from him, and it’s the cleanest my car has ever been since I purchased it. Austin was super communicative about coordination and was very reasonable about pricing for the amount of work he completed. Just an overall pleasant guy to work with. Looking forward to using him again for any future detail needs.”

Local know-how
Car care in Shelby Township
Bug season on M-53
A summer drive up the M-53 freeway (Van Dyke) through Shelby Township leaves the bumper, grille and mirrors spotted with insects. Bug splatter is acidic, and once it bakes on in the sun it can etch dull marks into the clear coat. Bug removal is part of every exterior detail, Exterior Standard included.
Mud from River Bends Park
River Bends Park, off 22 Mile Road, has mountain-bike singletrack and a paved path that crosses the Clinton River. A muddy hike or ride sends dirt from shoes, bikes and gear into the cargo area and carpets. Interior Standard vacuums everything, trunk included, and steams the carpet; Interior Deluxe adds shampoo and hot water extraction.
Bike racks and the Orchard Trail
The Macomb Orchard Trail starts at Dequindre and 24 Mile, on Shelby Township’s western edge. On the drive there, road grit packs in under a trunk rack’s pads and around a hitch rack, against the hatch and rear bumper. We foam it loose before the hand wash, so that grit is never dragged across the paint.

FAQ
Shelby Township detailing questions
Still curious? Reach out — we’re happy to walk you through anything before you book.
Can I give a detail as a gift?
Yes. A&F gift cards come by email, work on any A&F service, and never expire. You’ll find them on our Gift Cards page. Terms and conditions are applied to gift certificates and gift cards.
Which parts of Shelby Township do you cover?
All of Shelby Township, from Hall Road (M-59) up to Stony Creek Metropark, in ZIP codes 48315, 48316 and 48317, with our own water and power at every stop. Just outside? Put your city or ZIP in the booking form and we’ll confirm, usually the same day.
How much does it cost?
Exterior details start at $100, Interior at $200 and Full-Service at $260 for sedans and coupes ($120, $230 and $300 for SUVs and trucks). Heavy pet hair or a heavily soiled vehicle is $25 extra, and oversized trucks may be quoted a little higher. We’ll always tell you before we start, never after. You’ll see your exact price on the booking form before you book.
When and how do I pay?
After the detail. There’s no deposit and no card on file. We’ll text you a secure payment link (card or Apple Pay), or you can pay with Tap to Pay on Austin’s phone, cash, check, Zelle or Venmo.
How long does a detail take?
It depends on the package and the vehicle’s condition. Exterior Standard runs about 1.5 hours and Exterior Deluxe 2–2.5; Interior Standard takes 2.5–3 hours and Interior Deluxe 3–4. Full-Service Standard is 3.5–4.5 hours, and Full-Service Deluxe — the most thorough — runs 4.5–6. We’ll give you a clear time window when you book.
What if it rains?
If the weather would keep us from doing the job right, we’ll reach out to reschedule at no cost — we’d rather move the appointment than deliver a result we’re not proud of.
