Car care in Lake Orion
Lakefront parking and bird droppings
Homes on the Lake Orion shoreline and on Bellevue and Park islands put cars close to the water, where Canada geese, ducks and other birds leave droppings. Left in the sun, a dropping’s acid can eat into the clear coat. Our foam bath softens them before the hand wash, and Exterior Deluxe’s 6-month ceramic sealant leaves a slicker surface.
Beach and trail days at Bald Mountain
A day at Bald Mountain Recreation Area, off Greenshield Road, rides home in the car. Sand from the Lower Trout Lake beach works under the seats, and wet boots and bikes leave trail mud in the cargo area. We vacuum under the seats and in the trunk, steam the crevices, and Interior Deluxe’s hot water extraction lifts ground-in mud.
Salt on the M-24 commute
Winter traffic on M-24 (Lapeer Road), between the village and I-75, throws up salty slush. It dries to a white film on the lower doors and creeps into the door jambs, where it speeds rust. Every exterior detail cleans the jambs, wheels and wells.

Can you come out to a gravel driveway or a dirt road?
Yes. We bring our own water tank and generator, so a gravel drive or a dirt road is no problem. All we need is a spot to park beside the car.

How much does it cost?
Exterior details start at $100, Interior at $200 and Full-Service at $260 for sedans and coupes ($120, $230 and $300 for SUVs and trucks). Heavy pet hair or a heavily soiled vehicle is $25 extra, and oversized trucks may be quoted a little higher. We’ll always tell you before we start, never after. You’ll see your exact price on the booking form before you book.
When and how do I pay?
After the detail. There’s no deposit and no card on file. We’ll text you a secure payment link (card or Apple Pay), or you can pay with Tap to Pay on Austin’s phone, cash, check, Zelle or Venmo.
How long does a detail take?
It depends on the package and the vehicle’s condition. Exterior Standard runs about 1.5 hours and Exterior Deluxe 2–2.5; Interior Standard takes 2.5–3 hours and Interior Deluxe 3–4. Full-Service Standard is 3.5–4.5 hours, and Full-Service Deluxe — the most thorough — runs 4.5–6. We’ll give you a clear time window when you book.
What if it rains?
If the weather would keep us from doing the job right, we’ll reach out to reschedule at no cost — we’d rather move the appointment than deliver a result we’re not proud of.
