Car care in Bloomfield Hills
Sap from Cranbrook’s old trees
Cars parked under the mature trees on and around Cranbrook’s campus, along Lone Pine Road, pick up sap on the roof, hood and glass. Once it bakes hard in the sun, a normal wash won’t move it. Exterior Deluxe and Full-Service Deluxe include tar & sap removal, which softens it so it lifts off without scrubbing the paint.
Detail it before winter storage
If the weekend car is going into the garage before the salt trucks reach Woodward Avenue, have it detailed first, so bugs, droppings and road film don’t sit on the paint all winter. Full-Service Deluxe includes a 6-month ceramic sealant, and inside we steam-clean the cabin and condition the leather and vinyl.
Brake dust from Woodward traffic
Stop-and-go driving on Woodward Avenue and Long Lake Road, light after light, leaves brake dust caked on the wheels. Every Exterior and Full-Service package cleans the wheels, tires and wells. The Deluxe versions add iron decontamination, which dissolves the tiny iron specks from brake dust that settle into the paint and survive a wash.

Can you detail more than one car in a visit?
Yes. Book them together and we’ll detail each car in the same visit, each at its own package price, all at the house with our own water tank and generator.

How much does it cost?
Exterior details start at $100, Interior at $200 and Full-Service at $260 for sedans and coupes ($120, $230 and $300 for SUVs and trucks). Heavy pet hair or a heavily soiled vehicle is $25 extra, and oversized trucks may be quoted a little higher. We’ll always tell you before we start, never after. You’ll see your exact price on the booking form before you book.
When and how do I pay?
After the detail. There’s no deposit and no card on file. We’ll text you a secure payment link (card or Apple Pay), or you can pay with Tap to Pay on Austin’s phone, cash, check, Zelle or Venmo.
How long does a detail take?
It depends on the package and the vehicle’s condition. Exterior Standard runs about 1.5 hours and Exterior Deluxe 2–2.5; Interior Standard takes 2.5–3 hours and Interior Deluxe 3–4. Full-Service Standard is 3.5–4.5 hours, and Full-Service Deluxe — the most thorough — runs 4.5–6. We’ll give you a clear time window when you book.
What if it rains?
If the weather would keep us from doing the job right, we’ll reach out to reschedule at no cost — we’d rather move the appointment than deliver a result we’re not proud of.
